How you noodling?!

Lets talk more noodles! I just can’t tell you how much I love them.

I was at work today (on a Sunday morning!) and I wanted to treat myself to some yummy noodles.

I went to Supreme Asian Cuisine in Southampton. They do lots of noodles but also rice dishes. I love coming here for my noodle fix, the one thing I think they need to improve on is getting a card machine. They’ve always been cash only, I think they need to move with the times!

Anyway, came here for lunch and I ordered braised beef soup noodles with vermicelli. They have a curry braised beef soup noodles but I wanted to go for the original one first because I wanted to try something out.

So I watch Strictly Dumpling and Mike Chen hosts this YouTube channel. Whenever he has soup noodles he always puts black vinegar and lots of chilli oil; he loves his chilli oil. So I thought I would try this combination and see if I get the same reaction as he does!

My noodles arrive and I try the soup without the vinegar and chilli oil. Lots of flavour and you can taste the beef. Time to level up, I didn’t put too much vinegar at once but I did put lots of chilli oil (I love chilli oil too). Gave it a taste and my god it was nice! It wasn’t too vinegary and mixed with the chilli oil it was like a totally different soup! I put a dash more vinegar to balance it with the chilli oil and then it was a perfect soup! It was balanced with hot and sour and mmm mmm it was yummmyyyy!

Maybe you should give it a try next time!
