What do you make when you have homemade Kimchi?! Kimchi fried rice of course!
It’s so simple and quick to make!

You start off frying off garlic and once that’s golden add in your Kimchi. Once that’s cooked off a bit, add in your frozen vegetables. You then add in your cold rice and just mix it all together. Push the rice to the side and add an egg (or 2), break up the egg and when it’s just about cooked push the rice into the egg and mix. Season if needed and serve. Simples!
The rice – you need to have rice that has been left over from the day before. If you use hot rice, your fried rice will get very stodgy (noone wants a stodgy fried rice!)
If you have any bacon add that after you have fried off the garlic. You will then get an amazing flavour from the garlic and the bacon fat.
