Egg in hole

This is the first time doing this so don’t judge me on the appearance lol so egg in hole is basically a piece of toast with a hole cut out and an egg in the middle. I saw Sorted Food (they’re on YouTube if you want to check them out, I’ll do another blog on them soon) do this so I thought I would try it out.

I didn’t have a round cutter so just used a cup! Cut a circle in the middle of your bread and let that fry until golden brown until you crack in your egg then season with salt and pepper.

Once the bottom of the egg is golden you can then flip it over to then cook the other side. This doesn’t need to be too long depending how you like your yolk cooked. As the pan was hot I flipped mind over for a few seconds.

The yolk wasn’t too hard so it was still a little bit soft but I wanted it to be a little bit more gooey.

Despite the final product…. It was still yummy with ketchup! I’ll try this again as I want my yolk to be nice and gooey.
