Had a takeaway tonight at a new place I’ve never been to. It’s an American inspired diner and it has burgers, hot dogs and a good selection of loaded fries! The fries were a good portion and the burger is also a good size.
I orderd the South American burger with a beef patty. It had grilled chorizo, bell peppers, onions, fiery jalapeños, pickles and cheese. I couldn’t taste much of the chorizo but the beef patty was juicy. The pickles and the peppers gave it a bit of crunch. This was all in a brioce bun; which gave it a bit of sweetness. These were the chilli cheese loaded fries. This was a big portion and if you’re hungry you can definitely eat it all but having a burger and then the fries I couldn’t eat it all! It was skin on fries topped with slow cooked beef chilli and melted cheese. Finished with fiery jalapeños, onion and American mustard. I couldn’t taste the mustard and it wasn’t spicy. Even with the jalapeños I couldn’t really taste that.
All in all, it was OK. I enjoyed the burger more than the fries. I don’t really eat alot of burgers so that’s saying something lol. The only thing I can say that’s constructive criticism is that they need to put prices on their website.
