Dim sum turned won ton?!

My cousin messaged me this morning with this simple recipe. Basically using siu mai dim sum and instead of steaming it, you put it in the soup instead and surprisingly it actually works! This is how I made it.

Ingredients: vermicelli noodles, pak choi, chicken stock powder, pack of frozen siu mai and spring onion
Put the stock powder and boiling water into a pan, put a lid on and let it boil
Add your noodles and the siu mai and let it cook
Once the siu mai and noodles are cooked, add your pak choi, put a lid on and let that boil a little more until the pak choi is cooked
Once cooked, add your spring onions at the end
For the dipping sauce, I put black rice vinegar and chilli oil and mix. It has a good vinegary and chilli kick for the siu mai!
Lunch is ready!

This was a simple lunch recipe if you don’t have any won ton or don’t want to make your own.

Once you have finished dipping your siu mai into the vinegary and chilli goodness, you can put the leftovers into your noodles! It has epic flavours.

If you are tight for time.. This is a great dish to cook!
