So I’ve been loving my Korean food lately, thanks to Jolly (YouTube channel). They eat so much Korean food, I just want to experience it too.

I didn’t have some of the ingredients but I still had the main spam and frankfurters. I forgot to buy Kimchi 😦 but I’m planning to make a batch soon!
Seonkyoung used a gas cooker and a shallow pot but I don’t have a gas cooker so I ended up using a shallow all in one cooking pot my mum gave me. Oh my god, it was a game changer! It heated up so quickly, it was unbelievable!


There was so much texture in this… The softness of the spam and the tofu. Crunchyness of the cabbage and spring onions. Then you had the spicyness of the broth; there was 6 tablespoons of gochugaru (Korean chilli flakes). I was fine with it though as I love my spice!
I think if I had Kimchi the taste would have been very different. Next time I will have it with Kimchi!
