Korean dinner

I recently bought some Korean dumplings at the Chinese supermarket and what do you eat with Korean dumplings?! Kimchi of course! I also made homemade Kimchi and they have been waiting for me to eat it for 3 days!

These are the dumplings I bought
Lots of dumplings and Kimchi rice
Wrap your Kimchi around your dumpling. Heaven.

This was a very filling dinner! The rice took on the flavour of the Kimchi juice and there was a nice crunch of the white radish and the spring onions. This was the first time making Kimchi by myself so I would call it a success!

The dumplings were amazing! I started off frying them from frozen and then I poured a little bit of water in the pan and put a lid on to let them steam. This method won’t make them crunchy on the outside, but if you want them crunchy then don’t put water in.

The dumplings had the nice sweetness of the vegetables and then the meatyness of the pork. It was a good balance of both. Then putting the Kimchi on top just gave it a bit of crunch and also the spicyness.

I would definitely recommend trying out these dumplings! So lovely!
