I fancied a slow cooker meal tonight and this one sounded quite nice! It called for feta cheese and pine nuts but I’m not keen on them so my dinner is less Greek lol
There was no pre cooking the meat so it was just put everything in the slow cooker! There wasn’t any small lamb shanks so I ended going for stewing lamb; which has a bone in. I didn’t need to cook it for 10 hours, I put it in for 4 and a half hours on high and it still did the job!

This was actually a nice recipe. You wouldn’t want to kiss anyone after this meal… It has a bulb of garlic in it! When the garlic is cooked down it really does have a good punch to it!
I added a bit of brown sugar as I reckon with the passata it made it abit too sour so added a little bit of sugar to just sweeten it up a bit.
If you don’t like lamb, I think this would be good with beef or chicken.
If you have a slow cooker, why don’t you give it a try. It’s great on a rainy day like today.
