I’m kicking the week off with Japanese food! I love Japanese food, I would love to go to Japan and just eat all the food!
I’ve never had cold soba noodles with a dipping sauce, so I thought I would give this recipe a try. The dipping sauce recipe is by Tiffy Cooks. Her written recipe is below:
Cold Soba Noodles Dipping Sauce (5 Minutes!!)
This didn’t take long at all. You just need to cook 2 things; the noodles and the dipping sauce. Easy peasy!
The dipping is just a mixture of dashi stock, mirin and soy sauce. I had this with a side of Japanese pickled radish. Yum!

The dipping sauce was a little salty but once you eat it with the noodles it balances out. I don’t think you should be drinking all of the sauce, so I didn’t lol it would be a little too salty if you drink it like a soup!
The noodles were cooked to perfection and having the seaweed on top just gave it a little bit of texture. Dipping it into the sauce and then grabbing a bit of spring onion gave it a bit of crunch.
I would definitely do this again and maybe you should try it out too!
