I mentioned in my previous post that I bought some macarons. I’ve been to the gym today and when I got home I saw the macarons staring me in the face… So that was my dinner lol
The macarons were made by a company called Frandie Macaron. I don’t a lot of sweet things but these macarons weren’t very sweet so they were right up my street!
Mine were the 4 classic flavours, strawberry and cream, bourbon vanilla, double chocolate and salted caramel.
I thought the salted caramel were going to be really sweet but they weren’t. The filling was light and creamy and the actual macaron was flaky. The salted caramel had the right balance of salt and sweet.
The bourbon vanilla was nice. Lots of vanilla taste to it and not overly sweet.
The strawberry and cream I first thought it was going to be boring but in the middle of it, there was a little surprise! There was strawberry jam, I didn’t expect it but that made it very special.
The double chocolate one was lush! Very chocolatey but not like overly sweet. This was my favourite one, I don’t eat a lot of chocolate so I was a bit surprised that this one was my favourite.
If I see them again… I would definitely buy more!
