Decided to have a takeaway the other night and fancied a burger. I haven’t been to 7 Bone in ages! I’ve been to 7 Bone in Southampton (seated) but never had a a takeaway, so I thought I would try it out (in Portsmouth).
I wasn’t that impressed with the takeaway 7 Bone, when it got here the fries were cold and the burger was a little squished!
The burger tasted OK, it was luke warm but I did like the jalapeños to give it a spicy kick and the texture of the chilli beef and beef patty. I prefer this in the restaurant if I’m honest!
The dirty fries came in a box with the bacon lardons and the sauce and the lettuce were separate; I’m guessing so the fries won’t get soggy on route! The fries and bacon lardons were cold and the lettuce didn’t look that appetising! We skipped the lettuce and put the sauce on, to be honest the sauce was the best part. It had a good tang and the consistency was like a hollandaise sauce.
If you ever want a 7 Bone, I recommend going into the restaurant instead of takeaway!
